Every
once in a while, Felix
acquires some exceptionally
rich concentrate. Quantities
of this material are
always very limited,
and it sells out very quickly.
Felix has taken to calling
this dirt the "Jackpot".
Now,
by itself, the Jackpot is
some mighty fine dirt.
But here's the best part
- Felix got this wild
notion to toss some one-ounce
gold nuggets into
randomly selected bags!
Well, as you can imagine,
this stirred up some
real excitement, and
we've been having a lot
of fun giving away those
big fat one-ouncers!
So much so that the Jackpot has
become a major annual
event around here. It
usually happens in the
fall, around November
1. But you have to qualify
to take part in it.
"How
can I get in on the JACKPOT?"
There's
only
one
way - you
have to be
an
active customer
(yes,
that
means
you
have
to
buy
something). "Active" means
you
have
bought
some
Gourmet
Gold
sometime
within
the
current
year. Once you purchase
some of the best dirt on earth,
you get on our mailing list. When
the Jackpot
comes available, we send out special
invitations to all our active customers.
When you get your invitation, act quickly.
This stuff sells out very fast!
Now this is very
important - You will also want
to subscribe
to my email announcements.
Much faster than snail mail, you will be
the first to learn all the vital details
about the JACKPOT!
Not
sure if you're an active customer?
There's one way to be sure
- BUY
A BAG! Keep your
status current and I will make
sure you stay at the top of
the list!
The JACKPOT is a one-of-a-kind event, the most anticipated
prospecting party of the year! Make sure you get in
on it, and you could walk away with one of those big,
beautiful ONE-OUNCE GOLD NUGGETS!

Richard Whittington from Nebraska
Felix,
My Jack-pot paydirt arrived but I had to wait 4 days and then it was just a quick pan to see if I had anything "Big".
I was on my 3rd and last bag. I already had over
1/4 oz of pickers. I had just emptied the 2nd 1/3
of this last bag into my pan and I heard this "CLUNK" and
there she was-----Looking at her profile, she is
long and lean like a prospector's dream.
But head on she's a wide load and thats what I named her "WIDE LODE"----all 1.08 ozt of her. She has truly captured my heart. ( I still have to pan the smaller flakes and there are alot of them )
Thanks again, for bringing the Alaska Gold Rush to Nebraska.
My quest for a 1 ozt. nugget has been accomplished.
FELIX'S PAYDIRT IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!

Dear Felix,
My wife ordered me one of your 2001 Jackpot bags, and boy was I surprised when I panned it out. Not only did I get a lot of nice pickers and a lot of fine gold, but I also found this 1 oz. beauty.
Thanks again for providing this thrill of finding bug gold in my pan. |

Dr. Olen King from Colorado
The nugget weighs 1.13 ounces. I feel very fortunate to have received one of these nuggets out of all the hundreds of bags of Jackpot gold sold. Thanks again for your great product.

Felix: I found a nugget that weighed 29.9 grams. Biggest hunk of gold I have found yet. I had found a little gold in every pan, but when I poured out the last of the dirt into my pan, I heard a hard clunk, and I knew I had something. I almost passed out, and I went to hollering and screaming and one of my neighbors said he knew what had just happened. I named it "Bonanza". |

Anna
Quinn of Export, PA received a couple Jackpot
bags as gifts.
Here's her story:
I randomly
chose one of the bags to open, and began to pan about
a third of the dirt in the large tub. Almost immediately,
I had an audience looking over my shoulder when I got
down to the black sand. Nice pickers--2 of them! The
fellows left, and I poured out the second third. Instinctively,
they came as I got to the black sand--one nice picker,
and lots of fine gold. Back to the TV they went. I poured
the final third out of the bag, and something BIG caught
my eye on top the mound of dirt! "Oh my gosh!"
I yelled, and at that everyone - - Jerry, Jon and Bran
the dog came running down the steps.
Holding the nugget in my closed hand until everyone was ready, I opened it and in unison we all said "WOW!" Jon got a scale out immediately, and weighed it - - 1 ounce! The nugget has been a source of "oohs" and "ahhs" since. Fine Alaskan gold without leaving the warm confines of our home. What a GREAT present!

For Gerry Bender (Waynesboro, PA) it went down like this:
It was late afternoon before I got a chance to do some panning. There was a large clump in the dirt I first poured out. Cold chills went all through me when I cleaned the dirt away and there was a gold nugget. It looked like it was the size of a golf ball at first. It weighed just under an ounce. It was the biggest nugget I've seen so far.

Anctil got his in North Carolina. He says:
I was
so delighted when I found this beautiful nugget in my
pan after I dumped the bag. I was moving the dirt around,
to my surprise there it was. I have been waiting a very
long time to find such a beautiful nugget like this
one.

Ken and Earline Ellis shared a Jackpot bag in Sandia, Texas. Ken said:
My wife and I would like for you to know we received the Jackpot bag we ordered. We decided to empty the bag into a bowl to see if it had the 1 oz. nugget in it. I poured the bag out real slow and didn't see anything so my wife ran her fingers through the dirt and said she felt a big rock. When she pulled it out she screamed, then almost fainted. In her hand was the most beautiful 1 oz. nugget we had ever seen. |

I really couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the bag of paydirt and found a 1 ounce gold nugget. We found out if you want bags of dirt with gold in Felix is the place to go. I was very pleased with the paydirt I have received so far. |
But what about the other Jackpot buyers, the ones who didn't get the big one? Did they get shortchanged? No way! Here's what some of them had to say about the Jackpot:
- Oh boy , Felix you out did
yourself this year. My jackpot
bag was sensational! I poured
a little into my pan and started
to wash it out and right there
in my pan was a great big gold
nugget. What a thrill. It wasn't
a one ounce but it was pretty
big.It has great shape and good
heft. The rest of the bag was
full of nice pickers and fine
gold. The Gold was wonderful
. Keep me on your mailing list
for next year. Im going to start
saving my pennies now .Thanks
again Your pal Pete Morrill
- Hello Mister Felix Paydirt
I finished cleaning the 2 bags
of jackpot dirt and I must say
that for only being two bags
there was an amazing amount of
flake and fine along with some
little pickers in the dirt, no
one ounce nugget or anything
big but the amount of the small
stuff was fantastic and beautiful,
Thank you very much, Sincerely
Mike S. Tucson , AZ.
- Hello Felix:
Am enjoying panning out your Jackpot bag of dirt you
sent me. Though I didn't get the "Big One", there
is enough gold to get an old man like me excited.
Again, thanks for the great dirt and keep up the
good work.......Ron
- Hey Felix ! I got my Jackpot
bag and was very well pleased
with it. While the big 1 ouncer
wasn't there,I did have a couple
of small 1 pennyweight nuggies.
My bag had a good amount of
total gold, from fines to flakes
to small nuggets. I got my moneys
worth!!
I will be on your list next year !! Thanks!

- I was not one of the lucky
ones to get an ouncer but the
pieces I got were large. I will
certainly order the jackpot bags
next year. I sifted through the
sand first and found a few large
pieces right away. Then I panned
and found more. I put it through
my mini sluice and found a lot
of fine gold too. It was very
exciting to find this much gold.
Thanks for all the fun
Bill from Boca

I'll get it wet but it just has
so many pickers in it I'm gonna
keep picken till there's no more

- My Jackpot Bag was really
nice, better than all my club
claim outings over a 10 year
period. There was over 1/4 once,
including a nice 19 grns nugget.
Well worth it and fun too, my
wife and I were taking pickers
out before I even started to
pan at the kitchen sink the night
it came.
Bob
-
The Jack pot was great! Have never seen anything like
it. Did not get the big one, but had lots of little
stuff. Got some really nice small nuggets and pickers.
Enjoyed it very much.
Got the fever real bad!
Steve
- I can still hear my prospecting
partner exclaim "WOW" over my
gold pan from the JACKPOT chance
for a nice nugget. Although I
was not the very fortunate one,
I still consider it a very good
bag.

- My buddy and i just received
our Jackpot 2002 bags and I only
had enough time to pan 1/3 of
the bag and i have so much gold
I am going nuts. We were amazed,
satisfied, and pleased as punch.
I must say THAT YOU DID ALL YOU
SAID YOU WOULD AND MORE. We are
very happy with the results.
THANKS

- Although I did not find one
of the one ounce nuggets, I was
amazed at the amount of gold
that ended up in my pan from
just one bag of the Jackpot Gold.
So, it goes without saying, when
you have your Jackpot bag offers
in the future, you can be sure
that my name will be amongst
the orders that you will receive!

JACKPOT
2004 ! |
| These photos were sent in by the winners of Jackpot 2004. We gave away a lot of one-ounce nuggets in '04. But to sweeten the pot, we also gave away a lot of additional gold. Some of these photos show an extra ounce of placer gold, while others show an extra half-ounce. Any way you look at it, that is a lot of gold!!! |
